Misconceptions About iOS Multitasking

The iOS multitasking bar does not contain "a list of all running apps". It contains "a list of recently used apps". The user never has to manage background tasks on iOS.

Great post by Fraser Speirs. I've always noticed people trying to close apps in the multitasking bar even though there has never been a need to do that. Modern operating systems are smart enough to figure all that stuff out.
